• By default the app collects no personal data. No account is needed; no ads, analytics or third-party trackers.
• Profile name, avatar and progress are stored only on your device (browser storage). Clearing the app data deletes them.
• Optional: class code. If a teacher gives a class code and the child joins in the Class section of the profile, the profile name and progress figures are sent only to that teacher’s account; they are never public. A parent’s consent is asked before joining. A nickname can be used as the profile name. What is sent, where it is stored and how to delete it is described in the data notice (Turkish KVKK).
• Optional: teacher panel. Teacher accounts use an email and password; a teacher sees only their own class and can delete any student.
• Optional: content report. If an adult turns on “Content review” in the Parent Area and reports a card, only the card, the reason and an optional note are sent; no name or device data.
• Where is it stored? Class, teacher and report data are stored by Supabase Inc. on servers in India (Mumbai). Data is never shared or sold.
• The microphone is optional and used only in the speaking practice. Speech recognition is done by your browser or device (Google’s service on Android/Chrome) under its own privacy terms. The app never receives, sends or stores audio. “Record me” and story reading recordings stay on this device.
• The public leaderboard feature has been switched off.
• No timer pressure and no penalty for wrong answers. This app supports learning; it does not replace a teacher or a specialist.
• Pictures come from Pixabay (Pixabay Content License) and drawings made for this project. Aktapokus is an original character.
